The Chief Medical Director of the Rivers State Hospital Management Board, Doctor Kenneth Okagwa, has had his position terminated by the Rivers State Government.
The State Commissioner for Health, Professor Princewill Chike, stated this in a statement on Friday.
Okagwa is to provide the office and other government properties to the Board’s highest ranking officer, according to a statement issued by the Ministry’s press secretary, Ednah Alete.
His termination, according to the state government, is with immediate effect.
WITHIN NIGERIA reports that the reason for his termination was not stated.
