Nigeria’s Odion Ighalo moved ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo in the Saudi Arabia Professional League scoring chart after netting in Al Hilal’s 2-0 win over Al Khaleej on Saturday night.
In 17 league appearances for the Lions this season, Ighalo has 14 goals and two assists.
The 33-year-old is second on the top scorers list, trailing Morocco’s Abderrazzaq Hamed Allah, who has 15 goals.
For Al Nassr, Ronaldo has scored nine goals.
Ighalo won the golden boot last season with 24 goals.
His goals played a key role in Al Hilal winning the league last season.
