Real Madrid striker, Karim Benzema, has set a new record after scoring a hat-trick in the 6-0 thrashing of Valladolid in the Spanish La Liga.
Benzama’s first-half hat-trick against Valladolid on Sunday made him the first player in Real Madrid history to score 20-plus goals in 11 seasons for the Los Blancos.
The 35-year-old Frenchman has now surpassed the likes of Di Stefano and Raul who scored 20-plus goals in 10 seasons during their time at Real Madrid.
Benzema scored in the 29, 32, and 36 minutes during the tie at Santiago Bernabeu.
His teammates, Rodrygo, Marco Asensio, and Lucas Vazquez, also scored to complete the emphatic score line.
