PSG coach, Galtier under fire after latest defeat

Christophe Galtier

Christophe Galtier, the head coach of Paris Saint-Germain, has come under fire following his team’s latest defeat in the French Ligue 1.
Galtier was present at PSG’s 1-0 loss to Lyon over the weekend.

Galtier’s team was eliminated from the Champions League as well as the Coupe de France.

PSG currently leads the French Ligue 1 table, but consecutive losses to Rennes and Lyon have reduced their lead to six points over second-placed Lens.

Following Sunday’s loss to Lyon, Riolo lashed out at Galtier, claiming that he must accept responsibility for the Parisians’ underwhelming performance this season.

Riolo said (via RMC Sport): “Galtier got the wrong address but someone gave him the correct one. People blame the players, they blame everyone. The club is a mess. The level of play has never been so bad in the history of the club.

“He’s still responsible for what we see on the field. He managed Lille, Saint-Étienne, he managed clubs. The team is a complete disaster.”
