Chuba Akpom has been nominated for the March Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month award.
In four appearances for Michael Carrick’s side in March, Akpom scored five goals and assisted once.
The Nigerian-born forward has been nominated for the player award three times, winning it in December and February.
Other players nominated for the individual award include Viktor Gyokeres (Coventry City), Ki-Jana Hoever (Stoke City), and Nathan Tella (Burnley).
Akpom’s manager, Carrick is also in the running for the managers award.
Carrick has now been nominated four times for the monthly managerial award since taking charge at Middlesbrough in October.
