Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp has said he should be blamed for the shambolic and dismal performance of the team this season.
The club had an excellent and outstanding run last campaign winning the FA Cup and Carabao Cup last year, while pushing Manchester City close in the Premier League title race.
Klopp’s men also suffered a narrow defeat to Real Madrid in the Champions League final.
However, they have endured a horrible outing this campaign as they are out of all competitions and sit in eighth place on the Premier League table.
“I’m 100 per cent responsible for this rubbish” Klopp said as the club endures a miserable 2022/2023 season
“I’m sorry for our people, that they don’t have the season they wished for. But in the long term they will forget that.
“I couldn’t care less what we did last year or the years before. I’m 100 per cent responsible for this rubbish and it’s really not cool,” Klopp told Sky Sports.
