The first leg of Sevilla’s Europa League quarterfinal match against Manchester United ended in a 2-2 draw for his team, according to head coach Jose Luis Mendilibar.
The first-half goals from Marcel Sabitzer gave the Red Devils a two-goal advantage.
But in the final 10 minutes of the game, the LaLiga team tied the score thanks to own goals from Tyrell Malacia and Harry Maguire.
“The first 30 mins were poor for us, great for them, they caused us problems.
“At half-time we said if we score one goal we would be back in the tie.
“We managed to equalise, Martinez got injured, and in the end, we had chances to turn the game around and leave as winners,” Mendilibar said.
