Cristiano Ronaldo, the captain of Al-Nassr football club and a Portuguese player, has urged the club to sign FC Porto defender Pepe.
Pepe, 40, plays for Porto and the Portugal national team as a centre-back and defensive midfielder.
During their time at Real Madrid, Ronaldo and Pepe were club teammates.
Recall that Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr on a free transfer after he left Manchester United by mutual consent in November 2022.
Portuguese football transfer expert, Pedro Almeida, disclosed this via his Twitter handle (@pedrogva6) on Friday.
“Cristiano Ronaldo asked the Al-Nassr board to sign #Pepe, the Portuguese player is at the end of his contract with Porto.
“Porto wants to extend the contract with the player,” he tweeted.
