Kebbi Election: Results Of Five LGAs As INEC Postpones Collation

KEbbi state

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) began collating results for the 2023 Governorship supplementary election for Kebbi State at about 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, April 16, after much delay.

The electoral body set an 11 p.m. deadline for the collation of election results, but it did not begin until after 1 a.m. because returning officers from local governments were delayed in arriving at the collation centre.

According to this news platform, Kebbi has 20 Local Government Areas (LGAs). When the returning officers finally arrived at the collation centre, however, only the results of 5 were announced before INEC declared that the remaining 15 would continue at 11 a.m. on Sunday.
