Odion Ighalo scored twice as Al Hilal overcame Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr 2-0 in the Saudi Arabia League on Tuesday.
Al Nassr could lose six points to table-toppers Al Ittihad as a result, who also have a game remaining.
The two goals Ighalo scored came from the penalty spot.
In the 42nd and 62nd minutes, the former Super Eagles attacker converted brilliantly from 12 yards.,
Prior to Tuesday’s game, Ighalo had failed to score in Al Hilal’s last three fixtures.
Al Hilal had lost two and drawn one of their last three fixtures, while for Al Nassr it halted a run of four games without defeat (three wins and one draw).
Also Al Hilal, on 49 points, remain in fourth place and are seven points from leaders Al Ittihad.
