Didier Drogba, a former player for Chelsea, has advised hot-shot Napoli forward Victor Osimhen not to consider moving to Ligue 1 team Paris Saint-Germain.
This summer, Osimhen is being chased by a number of teams, including the Ligue 1 champions.
According to reports, PSG’s sporting director Luis Ocampos has twice spoken with Osimhen’s agent Roberto Calenda about a potential summer transfer.
The Nigerian international was advised not to join the Paris-based club by Drogba, who he looked up to.
“He (Osimhen) is really in the sights of a club like PSG,” the former Ivory Coast captain told Canal Plus as per United in Focus.
“It shows the full extent of his talent and the season he is having.
“But PSG is not the club he needs to continue his progress.”
Osimhen is also being courted by Chelsea, Manchester United and Bayern Munich.
The 24-year-old has scored 26 goals in 30 appearances across all competitions for Napoli this season.
