FIFA announced the 81 officials for the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup on Thursday, but the list did not include any Nigerian arbiters.
For the biennial competition, the world football governing body chose 25 referees and 28 assistant referees.
Additionally, 18 video match officials have been chosen for the competition.
FIFA did choose 11 African officials for the competition, including VAR officials and assistant referees.
Nigeria’s Flying Eagles will compete at Argentina 2023 alongside three other African countries.
The draw ceremony will hold at FIFA headquarters in Zurich , Switzerland on Friday.
Argentina will host the competition from May 20 to June 11.
