Mu’azu Sambo, Minister of Transportation, and other government officials paid a Sallah homage visit to President Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Friday.
According to the ministry’s Director of Press and Public Relations, Henshaw Ogubike, the visit, which was in keeping with the Islamic tradition of celebrating Eid-el-Fitr, also saw the minister congratulate Buhari on the successful Ramadan fasting leading up to the Sallah celebrations.
The statement reads, “While wishing the President more of such celebrations in good health and peace of mind in future, he lauded him on his legacy projects which has permanently changed the socio-economic landscape of the country.
“In attendance were the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, and Senate President Ahmed Lawan.”
