The Nigerian Golden Eaglets have arrived in Constantine, Algeria, for final preparations for the Africa U-17 Cup of Nations in 2023.
Nduka Ugbade’s family relocated to Algeria after a planned trip to Germany was cancelled due to complications with visa processing in the European country.
This weekend marks the start of the biennial competition in Algeria.
The two-time champions will begin their campaign against Zambia next week Monday at the 22,000 capacity Stade Mohamed Hamlaoui, Constantine.
The Golden Eaglets will also face Morocco and South Africa in their Group B games at the ground.
The top four teams in the competition will represent Africa at the FIFA U-17 World Cup finals scheduled for later this year.
