Caleb Mutfwang, the governor-elect of Plateau State, has announced his first appointments ahead of his inauguration on May 29.
WITHIN NIGERIA reports that the new appointments were announced in a statement issued in Jos on Tuesday by Yiljap Abraham, the Director of his campaign organization.
Muftwang appointed Moses Nwan to the position of Senior Special Assistant on Special Duties, and Gyang Bere to the position of Special Assistant (Media).
Nwan is a retired Plateau State civil service Permanent Secretary and former local government administrator. Bere is the current Chairman of the Nigerian Union of Journalists’ Plateau State chapter’s Correspondents Chapel.
The duo’s appointments are effective immediately.
Meanwhile, ahead of his inauguration, the governor-elect established a 10-member transition committee.
