Femi Fani-Kayode, a senior member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has warned critics of President-elect Bola Tinubu that their attacks will end soon.
He noted that Tinubu had returned home safely and would soon be sworn in.
Fani-Kayode stated this in a tweet shortly after Tinubu took up residence in the Defence House in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.
Some of the President-elect’s critics, according to the former Aviation Minister, are spreading fake news with the intent of “maligning, persecuting, and harassing the innocent with mendacious stories.”
He insisted that no matter what the critics did, God’s purpose would be established and their lies would vanish like icebergs.
He wrote:
Soon it will all be over because whether you like it or not our President-elect is back home safely, he has just moved into Defence House, he is one step closer to being in power and he is just a month away to being sworn in.
Soon everything will change, God’s purpose shall be established and your lies shall melt away like an iceberg approaching the tropics. Asiwaju is COMING!
Cook up all the stories and conspiracy theories you like, keep churning out your falsehood, lies and fake news, keep maligning, persecuting and harrassing the innocent and continue with your malicious and vicious propaganda and media campaigns of calmuny.
Soon it will all be… pic.twitter.com/czdNMcQaDb
