Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola has said there is “nothing special” about beating Arsenal.
The Premier League champions outclassed the table toppers 4-1 on Wednesday night.
The win saw City close the gap to two points and they still have two outstanding fixtures left to play.
However, Guardiola, speaking to the media on Friday ahead of their trip to Fulham, downplayed the important of the result.
“We did nothing special, normal as usual. We had a recovery session and today we had a day off.
“We’re confident for the Fulham game. They have been together a few years. This is the confidence we have to have.
“A lot of games is normal in this period. Of course winning games helps to be ready. On Sunday have an opportunity,” Guardiola said.
