On Thursday, Bola Tinubu, the president-elect, urged judges not to sacrifice justice for the sake of their responsibilities.
The Rivers State capital, Port Harcourt, hosted the commissioning of the Magistrates’ Court Complex when he spoke.
The complex, according to the incoming president, demonstrated Wike’s commitment to battling corruption.
“I take a different angle to what Wike has done here today, he is fighting corruption. If you don’t want your judges to be corrupt, you must pay attention to their welfare,
“We don’t want our judges to compromise justice, not just the books but do something, and I promise you that we will review all of these in a policy think tank,” he said.
