Vinicius Junior, a winger for Real Madrid, is the best player in the world, according to manager Carlo Ancelotti.
Prior to Real Madrid’s La Liga match against Getafe on Saturday, Ancelotti addressed the media during his pre-game press conference.
Vinicius has contributed to 21 assists and 23 goals for Real Madrid so far this season in 51 games across all competitions.
The Brazilian scored a wonder strike in Real Madrid’s Champions League semi-final first leg 1-1 draw with Manchester City last Tuesday.
Asked about Vinicius during his pre-match press conference on Friday ahead of Madrid’s clash with Getafe on Saturday, Ancelotti responded (via MadridXtra): “Vinicius? Best player in the world or very close to be.”
He added, “Vinicius will play tomorrow [against Getafe]. I talked to him, he feels very good.”
