Victor Eletu, a young AC Milan player, is expected to arrive at the Flying Eagles camp in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on Friday (today) ahead of the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
Eletu is one of the professionals with international bases who Ladan Bosso named to the team.
Due to club commitments, the defensive midfielder was unable to join the team in Abuja prior to the Flying Eagles’ departure for Buenos Aires.
“He will arrive today,” Flying Eagles media officer, Sharif Abdallah told SCORENigeria.
“Eletu has been granted his entry visa to Argentina in Milan.”
The 19-year-old is in line to make his first appearance for the Flying Eagles in the friendly against Colombia next week Tuesday.
The Flying Eagles open their World Cup campaign on Sunday, May 21, against the Dominican Republic in Mendoza.
Italy and Brazil are the other teams in the group.
