Roy Keane, a former captain of Manchester United, praised Brighton’s effort in their 3-0 victory against Arsenal on Sunday.
The Seagulls scored three goals in their epic victory at the Emirates, one each from Julio Encisco, Deniz Undav, and Pervis Estupinan.
The outcome virtually ends Arsenal’s chances of winning the championship this year.
As horrible as Arsenal were, we need to give respect to Brighton, Keane stated in a Sky Sports interview. They were excellent and prepared for such conflict.
“Arsenal look like they’ve run out of steam mentally and physically. They look like they’ve come off a tough European game.
“They’ve given it a good go this season, but they’ve come up just short.”
