Nigeria’s Flying Eagles held Colombia to a 3-3 draw in their last warm-up game for the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup on Tuesday night.
Colombia improved their chances nine minutes after falling down on 20 minutes, thanks to an own goal by Abel Ogwuche.
Eagles in flight Jude Sunday saved the Nigerian squad only six minutes before halftime.
However, Ladan Bosso’s side retained their two-goal lead immediately after restarting with Yaser Asprilla finding the net while Mohammed Beji of the Flying Eagles scored in the 65th minute.
Nigeria was able to equalise the match through Emmanuel Umeh’s goal.
The Flying Eagles will, therefore, face Dominican Republic, Brazil and Italy in the group stage of the competition.
