From Friday, May 26, at 2 p.m., through Monday, May 29, all routes connecting the Phase I, II, and III Federal Secretariat Complexes and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs must be closed.
This was stated in a circular issued on Friday in Abuja by Dr. Ngozi Onwudiwe, Permanent Secretary, Service Welfare Office, Office of the Head of the Service of the Civil Service of the Federation (HOCSF).
Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu will be sworn in as president on May 29. According to Onwudiwe, the directive is in keeping with the security measures taken by the Presidential Transition Council (PTC) to ensure a successful inaugural procession.
“Accordingly, officers and intending visitors to the affected areas will not be allowed access till Tuesday May 30 when work will resume in earnest,” the circular said
