An AI-powered supercomputer has given Manchester City the support it needs to win the first domestic cup, league, and European treble since 1999.
The City Cityzens have recently advanced to the UEFA Champions League final, where they will play Inter, and to the FA Cup final, where they will play their neighbours Manchester United. They are also four points ahead of Arsenal in the fight for the Premier League crown.
Manchester City has the potential to make history if they maintain their present course, becoming the first team to do so since Manchester United in 1999.
The Cityzens have now been predicted by FiveThirtyEight’s predicting computer to do exactly this and reach the heights previously only attained by their cross-town neighbours.
The Supercomputer has tipped Manchester City to win all three events, making them odds-on favourites to complete the treble.
According to the AI-powered computer, Manchester City have a 99% chance of winning the Premier League, a 76% chance of winning the FA Cup against Manchester United, and a 74% chance of being victorious in the final of the UEFA Champions League against Inter, giving them a 56% chance of winning the treble.
The Cityzens can become one of the most revered teams in the history of the Premier League if they manage to land the treble, and according to FiveThirtyEight’s supercomputer, it would be smart money to bet on them doing it.
