As a result of the ongoing conflict in Sudan, the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria has retracted its pledge that pilgrims won’t have to pay a $250 surcharge on flight.
Due to the closure of the Sudanese, there is now a higher fee and a lengthier journey time to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
As a result, NAHCON demanded that the pilgrims pay 40% of the $250 that had been added to their price.
WITHIN NIGERIA reports that the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja on Sunday served as the departure point for the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria’s Advance Team, which consisted of 31 officials.
This is a developing story…
