Peter Obi, the candidate for president of the Labour Party (LP) in the most recent election, has urged his supporters and other country citizens to maintain peace and follow the law ahead of Bola Tinubu’s inauguration on Monday.
Obi asserts that the true winner of the poll will be determined in due course by a court of law alone.
Speaking outside of a gathering in Kaduna State, the former governor of Anambra said that the country’s security, peace, and stability come before all other considerations.
He, therefore, called on all citizens to be law abiding and work for the progress and development of the nation.
“We must continue to live on the path of peace, religious harmony, ethnic harmony, coexistence, that is the most important thing for now.
“Let’s have a peaceful, quiet Nigeria where the government will concentrate on caring for the sufferings of the people,” Obi stated.
