Cristiano Ronaldo, the captain of Al-Nassr, is said to have approached Real Madrid’s Spanish La Liga rivals Atletico Madrid about a move to Spain.
Ronaldo wants to leave Saudi Arabia after only a few months with Al-Nassr on a free transfer.
According to El Nacional, the former Manchester United forward is dissatisfied in the Middle East and is looking for a way out.
The Portugal captain has decided that he wants to move back to Europe for off-pitch reasons and is eyeing Atletico Madrid.
Atletico Madrid loaned out Joao Felix to Chelsea, and reports suggest the Premier League giants are open to keeping him permanently. Rojablancos also allowed Matheus Cunha to join Wolves and are now looking for forwards.
However, the report added that Ronaldo wants to take advantage of the situation and is pushing to join Atletico Madrid this summer.
