The nomination of four nominees to serve as commissioners on the State Executive Council has been approved by the Rivers Assembly.
The four nominees were commissioners during Nyesom Wike’s immediate past administration.
Professor Chinedum Mmon, Attorney General Professor Zacheaus Adango, Commissioner for Finance Isaac Kamalu, and Commissioner for Works George Keli are the candidates who have been officially nominated.
WITHIN NIGERIA reports that Sir Siminalaye Fubara was sworn in as the 6th Governor of Rivers State shortly after taking an oath of office.
Fubara was sworn in at Yakubu Gowon Sports Stadium in Port Harcourt, Rivers State capital on Monday.
