The Samuel Kanyon Doe Stadium, Monrovia will host the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matchday five encounter between the Leone Stars of Sierra Leone and Super Eagles of Nigeria.
The encounter will hold on Sunday, June 18, 2023.
The Leone Stars have played all their home games in the qualifiers away from Freetown with no suitable ground in their country to host international matches.
The Super Eagles will camp in Lagos for the game.
The stadium in Monrovia has an artificial turf similar with the playing surface of the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan where the three-time African champions will train.
Jose Peseiro’s side will open camp for the game on Sunday, June 11.
Super Eagles top Group A of the qualifiers with nine points and need just a point from the game to secure a place in Cote d’Ivoire 2023.
The Leone Stars occupy third position in the group with five points and need a win to keep their qualification hopes alive.
