Former Kaduna Federal lawmaker Shehu Sani has stated that some people in the North will soon begin criticizing President Bola Tinubu for his political appointments.
WITHIN NIGERIA reports that Tinubu appointed the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, as his Chief of Staff, and Senator Ibrahim Hadejia, a former Deputy Governor of Jigawa State, as his Deputy Chief of Staff, in a statement issued by the Director, Information, State House, Abiodun Oladunjoye in Abuja on Friday.
The President also appointed Senator George Akume, a former Benue State governor, as Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF.
Tinubu made the announcement during a meeting with the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF) at the Presidential Villa’s Council Chamber in Abuja, according to the statement.
On Saturday, Sani took to Twitter to say that certain people are patiently waiting for the other juicy appointments, and if they don’t get them, they will accuse Tinubu of favoring his own ethnic group.
He wrote;
They are now ‘piping low’ and waiting for the remaining juicy appointments;once they didn’t get it,you will start reading sponsored press conferences by anonymous Northern youth groups from Kaduna and Kano accusing Tinubu of betrayal and favouring his own ethnic group.
