In the upcoming summer, ESPN reports that Real Madrid is prepared to make a bid for Kylian Mbappe of Paris Saint-Germain.
Mbappe’s future is once again uncertain after he informed the Ligue 1 champions that he would not be extending his contract for another year.
This means that his current contract will expire in June 2024.
PSG would accept bids of around €150 million for Mbappe this summer in order to avoid losing him for free a year later.
Madrid is now on alert, as they look to replace Karim Benzema, who has since joined Saudi Arabia’s Al Ittihad.
Their original plan was to sign a backup for Benzema, before pushing for Mbappe or Erling Haaland in 2024.
