Anambra: Security operatives arrest man for allegedly killing cousin with pestle in Aguleri

The Aguleri National Youth Security has arrested a young man for allegedly killing his cousin with pestle in the community.

According to an eye witness, Mr  Israel Iniedeke was arrested one Tuesday following his alleged murderous act.

WITHIN NIGERIA source revealed the suspect who lives in Aguleri was arrested and handed over to the police for investigation and possible prosecution.

Explaining further, our source stated that “Mr Isreal Iniedeke was arrested by Aguleri National Youth security and currently interrogated by men of Anambra police command after he used a pestle to hit his cousin, Mr Ephraim Effiong Bassey while he was asleep for refusing to give him money.

“Mr Isreal was arrested on Tuesday June 13th after a neighbor heard the screaming of the victim and called the attention of the youth security team led by CSO 2 ANYA Centra task force.

“However, according to the suspect, his cousin refused to give him money he demanded for and it caused a misunderstanding between two of them.

“Isreal said that he climbed through the ceiling to his cousin’s room while he was asleep and hit him with pestle before using knife on him.

“The victim was seen in the pool of his blood by the Aguleri youth who stormed the area and was rushed to hospital and suspect handed over  to police.”

However, all efforts to get the reaction of Police Public Relations Officer Anambra state police command Mr. Tochukwu Ikenga proved abortive.
