Former federal lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani, says the current administration approach to governance is a sharp departure from how its predecessor managed the affairs of the country.
He noted that the decisiveness and pragmatic approach by president Bola Tinubu is why some of his actions have been praised.
Recall that Tinubu decision to suspend the Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, and the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC, AbdulRasheed Bawa, had been commended by many Nigerians.
Shehu Sani in a tweet on Thursday, said the indecisive and insouciance of last administration is why people are cheering some of Tinubu’s move.
He stated that the country is now witnessing a “gradual dismantling of the defective pillars upon which the former president rested”.
He wrote, “The excitement is understandable. The nation journeyed through eight years of a boring, indecisive, weak, visionless and outsourced leadership, held captive by a gang.
“The nation waited for long, even for a modest action that never happened. We are now apparently witnessing a gradual dismantling of the defective pillars upon which the former president rested and wasted his opportunity and powers, and the time of the country”.
