The couple one Mr Luckylight Onukwe Sunday and his wife Mrs Chinasa Sunday both from Abia state but residents at Oji River was caught by a good Samaritan who brought them to the office of the women affairs Commissioner.

Mr Sunday who noted that he’s a prophet and on a divine mission to Awka explained that they relocated to Oji River from Lagos after life became bad for his family and decided to be using their daughter for begging purposes.

However, his wife Chinasa who claimed to be an Evangelist denied ever having knowledge of her husband’s begging activity whereas the 10 year old girl revealed that both parents are fully aware and that she has also gone begging with them on two different occasions.

Reacting, Hon Obinabo frowned at the couple for begging on the streets of Anambra and was furious that they indulged their underaged daughter in such despicable act.

She therefore mandated them to enroll the girl in school and do a weekly report at the ministry in order to ensure that they adhere strictly to her order.

Although she pardoned them because it’s their first time, she  warned that if caught the second time, she won’t hesitate to arrest them and take them to court and also stated that on no account will they use their daughter for any illegal act.
