I was one of those who opposed EndSARS protests – Asari Dokubo

Asari Dokubo

Asari Dokubo, a former Niger Delta Militant, has stated that he was among those who opposed the End SARS protests against police brutality in 2020.

The protest was described as “madness and nonsense” by him.

Dokubo also accused the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, of inciting the protests in a recent interview with Channels TV.

He stated that releasing Kanu would be an injustice, and that he should face the law for instigating heinous killings in the South East region.

Dokubo said, “When the madness they called End SARS started, I was one of the people vocal, opposed to that nonsense called End SARS.

“And Nnamdi Kanu was walking free then. What did he do? He poured petrol on the flames for End SARS. Now, he has been caught. What of the people who have died?

“This is a criminal. He should face the law.”
