Five new Permanent Secretaries have been appointed to fill open positions, with the approval of Plateau Governor Caleb Mutfwang.
The governor’s Director of Press and Public Affairs (DOPPA), Mr. Gyang Bere, announced the approval in a statement on Tuesday in Jos.
The appointment, according to Mutfwang, was a step towards his goal of reviving the state civil service and improving service performance.
Helen Chundusu, Roseline Dakwar, Joel Tahvan, Nanman Kparbong, and Aishatu Saleh are the new permanent secretaries.
The governor recently voided the appointment of permanent secretaries done between January and May, and directed the affected persons to revert to their former positions.(NAN)
