At the Presidential Villa in Abuja, Vice President Kashim Shettima presented a decoration to Mr. Kayode Egbetokun, the acting inspector general of police.
The quick ceremony of decoration was held in conjunction with Mrs. Egbetokun, the new Acting Inspector-General of Police’s spouse.
Senior government officials, including the Governor of Imo and Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF), Hope Uzodinma, and Senator George Akume, Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), were present for the ceremony.
Others are the Chief of Staff to the President, Hon Femi Gbajabiamila; the National Security Adviser (NSA), Nuhu Ribadu and the outgoing Inspector-General of Police, Alkali Baba.
