On Tuesday evening, President Bola Tinubu arrived in Paris, France.
Tinubu’s media team tweeted a video of him disembarking from the presidential jet.
The president is in Europe to attend the Global Financing Summit, which President Emmanuel Macron is hosting.
It is Tinubu’s first official trip outside of Nigeria since taking office on May 29, 2023.
Confirming his arrival in Paris, Tinubu said on his official Twitter handle: “My team and I arrived in Paris, France where we’ll be taking part in the Global Financing Pact Summit convened by President Emmanuel Macron.”
The President is expected back in the country on Saturday, June 24.
