Ilkay Gundogan’s contract with Barcelona has been made public.
After seven years at Manchester City, the German midfielder joined LaLiga champions as a free agent.
Gundogan has agreed to a contract extension until June 2025.
However, the agreement includes a provision that allows him to stay at the Nou Camp until 2026.
Barcelona has also included a €400 million release clause for the 32-year-old, who Arsenal and Saudi clubs were watching before making his decision.
Transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, tweeted: “Details of Ilkay Gündogan deal:
“€400m release clause;
“Contract until June 2025;
“Clause to extend until 2026.”
