On Monday, the Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Kaduna Command, CC Idris Yahaya Adah, ordered the deployment of 2,500 personnel across the State’s 23 local government areas to protect lives, property, and critical national assets before, during, and after the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.
According to the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Habeeb Badamsi, CC Adah also directed that security be beefed up in various worship centres to ensure a smooth celebration across the state.
Adah also stated that officers and men of the command are patrolling the state 24 hours a day, seven days a week to keep miscreants and other criminal elements from disrupting the state’s peaceful coexistence.
“I have also, directed all area commanders, Divisional Officers, Outposts across the 23 Local government areas of the state to ensure hitch-free Eid-el-Kabir celebrations in their various local government areas,” Adah said.
The state helmsman further advised residents to always cooperate with the security agents in the state by reporting any suspicious movement or suspected criminals within their environment for urgent arrest and prosecution.
