Senator Jimoh Ibrahim (Ondo-South) has urged Nigerians to be patient with President Bola Tinubu’s administration as it works to revitalize the country’s economy.
Ibrahim gave the advice in a message to the Muslim faithful on the occasion of Eld-el-Kabir on Wednesday in Okitipupa.
Ibrahim also urged citizens to work for national peace and unity by showing love for one another, regardless of religion or political affiliation.
He stated that some of the government’s new economic policies would take time to take effect.
Economic policies are not magic wands, it requires some periods for the targets of such policies to manifest.
Citizens are expected to be calm and cooperate with the government to implement such policies for the good of all.
Before long our economy will take shape judging by the policies rolled out so far by Tinubu, Ibrahim said.
He congratulated Muslims in Ondo on Eld-el-Kabir and charged them to embrace the teachings of Islam by striving for peace, love, and unity in the country.
