Rampaging hoodlums nearly lynched governor of Osun State, Mr. Ademola Adeleke, at the Osogbo Eid praying ground,

There was a full blown melee after a group of hoodlums, allegedly led by some prominent members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), took over the section reserved for the governor.

The situation quickly escalated, resulting in an assault on Honorable Moruf Gangaria, a member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) representing Osogbo federal constituency in the House of Representatives.

According to reports, Governor Adeleke and his entourage arrived at the venue amidst the pandemonium. However, upon their arrival, a group of blood-baying, stonecold and violent thugs charged at the governor and surrounded him but security operatives evacuated him from the area swiftly.
