The Federal Capital Territory Police Command has reported that a Mercedes Benz GLB 250 that was stolen by a potential customer has been found.
Recall how Mohammed Manga, a car dealer, alerted authorities that Henry, a suspect who went undercover as a customer and stole the vehicle while it was being tested in the FCT.
Henry, a potential customer, was shown the Mercedes Benz by one of Mohammed’s acquaintances who also sells cars. However, problems arose when Henry insisted on testing the automobile after the price was agreed upon at N55 million, according to Mohammed.
Nevertheless, he took off in the car and hasn’t been seen since.
The FCT command subsequently declared Henry wanted.
The command spokesperson, SP Josephine Adeh told Daily Post on Wednesday night that the car has been recovered in Delta State.
According to her, the recovery of the stolen vehicle by the Delta State Command “is an indication of the collaborative efforts of the Police across board”.
“The FCT Command had earlier initiated a discrete investigation into the incident, and alerted other Commands which led to the recovery of the vehicle”, she added.
