Prophet Michael Ojo Olowere, also known as Baba Olowere, was a well-known evangelist and the founder of the Christ Apostolic Church, or CAC, Oke-Agbara, Asi Bodija, which is situated in Ibadan.
On Wednesday, Olowere passed away in his Asi home in Ibadan.
The cleric’s passing was reported by well-known Nigerian comedian and on-air personality Bayegun Oluwatoyin, aka Woli Arole, in a Facebook post.
Sharing the video of his last visit to the prophet, Woli Arole said: “This was in April this year, when Baba blessed us at #friendsfellowship. God told me that day to ‘Reach out to Baba Olowere to bless me and my fold’.
“Thank God I listened. Thank God I understood TIMES and SEASONS, just like Elisha that didn’t leave Elijah until his ascension. I am very excited that I touched the helms of Baba Olowere’s garment not just from afar but close range.
“Sleep well God’s TREASURE. We love you so much, but God loves you more. Rest on PATRIARCH.”
The details of his transition are still scanty as of the time of filing this report.
