- Sani said El-rufai will humiliate Tinubu
- He reveals what opposition will do after tribunal judgment
Shehu Sani, a socio-political activist, has said the outcome of the Presidential election petition will determine what the future holds for President Bola Tinubu.
The outspoken former senator said the opposition may congratulate Tinubu or decry the judgement if the court affirms his victory.
In a terse post on his Twitter page on Monday, Sani said it’s the immediate past governor of Kaduna state, Nasir El-rufai, Tinubu should be wary of if he loses at the tribunal.
He said only God can save Tinubu if he loses at the tribunal, adding that El-rufai, whom he described as an emperor, would tear into him.
According to Sani: “If the court favours Tinubu and his victory is affirmed, the opposition may congratulate him or condemn the ruling and move on.
“If the court ruled against Tinubu and he lost the presidency, only God will save him from the mouth of the ex-Kaduna emperor and his next Book “How we made him and he betrayed us.”
Meanwhile, a Kaduna High Court has dismissed a libel and defamation suit instituted by El-Rufai, against former Senator Shehu Sani who once represented Kaduna Central senatorial district.
The trial judge, Justice H. Balogun, dismssed the case on grounds that it amounted to an abuse of court process.
Justice Balogun’s verdict was was hinged on the fact that El-Rufai had previously filed several suits over the same cause of action before different courts in Kaduna State.
Barr. Kimi Livingstone Appah, the defence counsel in the case, had initially filed a notice of preliminary objection challenging the jurisdiction of the court to entertain the suit.
The grounds for this objection were that the same case had been filed in four different courts in the state, constituting an abuse of court process.
