When he completes his move to AC Milan, Super Eagles star Samuel Chukwueze will earn a significant pay increase.

Chukwueze is expected to join AC Milan from Villarreal this summer for around €20 million.

The Super Eagles star will undergo a medical this week before signing a long-term contract with the Italian giants.

Chukwueze will reportedly receive a significant pay increase when he completes his move, making the Nigerian winger one of AC Milan’s highest earners.

Chukwueze will earn around €4 million per year, according to TuttoNapoli, putting him on par with Olivier Giroud, Fikayo Tomori, and Ante Rebic.

It is a significant pay increase for the Nigeria international, who earns around €1.1 million at Villarreal.

Chukwueze hopes to maintain his current form when he joins AC Milan.

The Nigerian winger has been with Villarreal since 2017, after joining the Yellow Submarine’s youth team directly from Diamond Football Academy in Nigeria following a strong showing at the U-17 World Cup in 2015.

Chukwueze has developed into one of La Liga’s most dangerous wingers during his time at Villarreal and would like to put his skills to the test in Serie A and the Champions League with AC Milan.

Last season, the Super Eagles forward had his best season with the Yellow Submarines, scoring 13 goals and recording 11 assists across all competitions.

Last season, his performances in the Spanish top flight earned him the award for best African player.
