The statement read, “During the interview session, the suspects confessed to having recruited pregnant girls who gave birth and handed over to one Friday, the kingpin who has been on the run.

“They were paid N150,000 for each pregnancy that was delivered.

“One child that was earlier reported missing by his parents at Saudi Police Division was also rescued from the house of the said kingpin.”

The command advised members of the public to ensure that their children were in safe places at all times, especially during the holidays.

In another story, one Dantata Bawa has allegedly defiled a four-year-old girl in Benue State.

The 43-year-old man committed the crime on Monday in North Bank, a suburb of Makurdi metropolis.

According to Witnesses, the incident happened in the suspect’s house after he lured the girl into his room in a shared neighbourhood.

Some of the residents alleged that Bawa had an antecedent of sexually abusing minors while engaging in his menial job as an artisan.
