In Abraka, a university town in Delta State, agents of the EFCC detained 52 alleged online fraudsters on Tuesday.
Wilson Uwujaren, the organization’s spokesman, said in Abuja that the suspects were detained as a result of actionable intelligence reports connecting them to online fraud.
Five Lexus RX350 cars, one Mercedes Benz GLA, three Mercedes Benz GLA 350 cars, one Honda Accord, laptop computers, and mobile phones were among the things found on the suspects, he continued.
“The suspects have made useful statements and will be arraigned as soon as the investigation is concluded,’’ Uwujaren stated. (NAN)
