He shared this perspective in a statement released in Abuja on Saturday, underscoring the commitment of the 10th house to establishing an open legislative body that contributes to a more prosperous Nigeria.

Representing the Ado/Okpokwu/Ogbadibo Federal Constituency in Benue, Agbese emphasized that Speaker Tajudeen Abbas and the house leadership have already taken strides to initiate efforts that will contribute to shaping a more ideal nation.

He highlighted that the 10th house is resolutely dedicated to fulfilling its pledges to the Nigerian populace, both individually and collectively as a legislative body. Key focal areas of the house include economic empowerment, fostering a conducive business environment, ensuring accountable governance, preserving personal freedoms, promoting social cohesion, enhancing safety and security, and advancing education and healthcare.

Agbese stressed that in line with this agenda, the leadership has devised a pro-citizen strategy aimed at enhancing the welfare of Nigerians. The 10th house is actively exploring various approaches to augment the legislative process and bring governance closer to the citizens. These methods encompass leveraging technology and conducting regular town hall meetings.

He pointed out a rejuvenated sense of patriotism, dedication, and allegiance to the Nigerian cause among members of the national assembly. Consequently, Agbese called upon Nigerians to continue offering their support to the house as it endeavors to improve the quality of life for all citizens.
