- APC’s Barr. Zacchaeus Dare Michael predicts Osun Governor Adeleke will face a shocking defeat in Kogi’s upcoming governorship election
- Michael counters Adeleke’s claims, calls PDP’s Kogi candidate unmarketable, highlights Governor Bello’s achievements and APC’s strength
Barr. Zacchaeus Dare Michael, an All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain and the Executive Secretary of the Kogi State Office For Disability Affairs, has boasted that Osun State Governor, Sen. Ademola Adeleke, will suffer the political shock of his life in the upcoming Kogi governorship election with an uncontestable defeat of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
WITHIN NIGERIA reports that Governor Adeleke is the PDP National Campaign Council chairman for the Kogi State governorship election.
Barr. Zacchaeus spoke in response to Governor Adeleke, who stated that he had previously defeated an incumbent and was coming to lead the PDP to victory in the upcoming Kogi governorship election on November 11.
Senator Dino Melaye, the PDP governorship candidate, was described as a disaster with no electoral value by the APC chieftain, who claimed he could not even deliver his House of Assembly candidate in the last elections.
While pointing out that Kogi is not Osun, Zacchaeus stated that Governor Yahaya Bello has many visible achievements that will help the APC win overwhelmingly.
He claimed that the PDP is an empty shell and that all of its leaders and members have joined the APC, leaving him to wonder how the opposition party will win the governorship election without a structure or even a single individual who can lead the party in the state.
He described the PDP candidate as unmarketable, claiming his clownish politics have rendered him unmarketable and salable.
He noted that the situation in Kogi differed from that in Osun State, where the last governorship election was between the APC and the APC.
